By 1905 three were 96 members with 18 new members in 1932.

According to the Callaway County History- 1884-of Harmony Church-the first building was erected in 1880 at a cost of $1400.00. The Christian Church met with the group in the beginning, but soon decided to build a new church. [1884] to be "built 1/4 miles east of Oak Grove Schoolhouse".

From another source:

"It is said the the three groups: Primitive Baptist; Regular Baptist and Christian, all met in the same building. Hard feelings between the three groups caused discontent and hard feelings. It was reported thst the Pasley family moved two bodies from the cemetery at Harmony Church to the new cemetery across from Friendship Church".
