I visited the cemetery on 7 March 2001 and 19 December 2001. It is a peaceful place, away from roads and no farming is done on Forestry land. There is a triangular fence around it newly redone. I met a woman who said she had been part of the refencing, but I met her in a situation where I was meeting hundreds of people and I didn't get her name. I also talked to an elderly woman who lived within a mile and half of the cemetery most of her life and didn't know the Wilkerson Cemetery was there."
