Robert Wesley Clatterbuck dies in K.C.(Ashland Bugle 3-5-1931)
 R.W. Clatterbuck, 57 years old, former resident of Ashland, and a native of Guthrie neighborhood, died Saturday night (Feb. 28) at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Gilbert Vosseller, in Kansas City.  Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at Dry Fork, The Rev. S.S. Keith officiating.  

John William Clatterbuck (Ashland Bugle October 1930)
Former Resident of Ashland and Later Cashier of Bank at Guthrie Passes-Acute > Indigestion cause of death. J.W. Clatterbuck widely known resident of Callaway county and cashier of the bank at Guthrie died suddenly of acute indigestion early last Friday > afternoon, October 3.  Thirty years ago he was prominent in the business > circles of Ashland, finally becoming manager of the Trade Center, largest > mercantile establishment of the town. Funeral services were conducted at Dry Fork Church by the Rev. H. P. Cheavens. Deceased, was the son of J.L. and Lucy Clatterbuck, was born May 5, 1865.  he was married in January 1889, to Maggie Duley, who passed away May 21, 1922.  To this union was born three children, Mrs. A.F. Martin, and Mrs. S.R. Whitfield, of Ashland, and Paul W. Clatterbuck, of New Bloomfield, and on Sept. 5, 1925, he was married to Pearl Holt, who survives, as do five Brothers and four sisters.  he was the first of ten children to pass away.

William Sam Clatterbuck (Ashland Bugle 5-9-1918) 
W.S. Clatterbuck, 76 years old, died at his home two miles west of New  Bloomfield, Thursday, May 2, 1918, of complications of diseases, we learn  from the News.  Funeral servies were conducted at Hopewell Baptist Church  Friday by the Rev. C.A. Mitchell.  Burial was in the church cemetery.  

Erban Martin Clatterbuck (Kingdom Daily Sun Gazette- June 10, 1982)
Erban M. Clatterbuck, 76, of 1729 East 22nd Street, Cheyenne, Wyo., died Tuesday, June 8, 1982. Hhe was born Dec 5, 1905, west of New Bloomfield in Callaway County, the son of T. Churchill and Katie Wilson Clatterbuck.  He married Lucille Robertson of the state of Minnesota on May 26, 1932.  She survives at the home. > Other survivors include a daughter, Kay E. Clatterbuck of Chicago, Ill.:  three sisters, Mrs. Mae Sweaney of Fulton, Mrs. J.A. Stepp of Jefferson City and Mrs. Charles Kidd of Cheyenne, Wyo: one nephew, tow nices, two great-nephews; and aunt, Hyten Clatterbuck of Iowa Falls, Iowa, and several cousins including Vernon Clatterbuck of Fulton, Newman Clatterbuck and Lucy Mae Hinshaw of Columbia. Mr. Clatterbuck was preceded in death by his father in 1935 and his mother in 1967. Mr. Clatterbuck was a graduate of New Bloomfield High School and the Chillicothe Business College.  He was employed by the Union Pacific Railroad as an agent in several western towns before he transfered to the main office > in Cheyenne from which he retired.  he was active in many organizations > including member and past presient of the Union Pacific Old Timers of Sidney, > Neb., member of the York Rite Bodies in Sidney, Neb., Past Master Masonic > Lodge, Potter, Neb.,.A.O.N.M.S. Korein > Temple, Rawlins, Wyo.: past president of A.A.R.P. Cheyenne Chapter.  he was a member of the Baptist Church in Cheyenne. Mr. and Mrs. Clatterbuck had celebrated thier 50th wedding anniversary with their daughter in Chicago and was en route home he was stricken with a heart attack near Des Moines. Services and burial will be in Cheyenne.

James Henry Clatterbuck: April 19, 1848-September 19, 1915
James H. Clatterbuck, 67 years old, died at his home in New Bloomfield early Sunday morning after a year's illness with asthma and heart trouble.  Funeral > services were held at Hopewell Baptist church, west of New Bloomfield, Monday afternoon by the Rev. C. A. Mitchell, who was assisted by the Rev's E.J. Sanderson and W. M. Tipton, and burial was in the church cemetery.  Mr. Clatterbuck was the youngest son of William and Caroline Clatterbuck, early day settlers in southwest Callaway.  he was born at the family homestead, eight miles southwest of New Bloomfield, on April 19, 1848.  his first wife was Miss Sarah C. Blythe, who died some years ago.  His second wife, formerly > Miss Katie Blythe, survives.  Mrs. Felix Bryan, a daughter of the first union, is the only living child. Four brothers and two sisters of Mr. Clatterbuck are living, namely:  John L., William S, Waller, and Benjamin F, and Mrs. Elizabeth Holt and Mrs. G. W. Wilson.> All live in the immediate vicinity of new Bloomfield.  This particular family of brothers and sisters has become noted in this country form its longevity, as there has not been a death among them since that of a twin brother of James H. hwo dided in infancy.  Thirty four nephews and nieces of Mr. Clatterbuck are living and eight of the nephews acted as pall bearers at the funeral. Mr. Clatterbuck was a charter memeber of Hopewell Baptist church, and was more than ordinarily attached to it, leaving a handsome legacy in his will for the perpetual maintenance of the church cemetary.  He was also a leading member of the Odd Fellows lodge of New Bloomfield.  Mr. Clatterbuck was a successful farmer and cattle breeder for many years and during the years of his activity he accumulated a considerable fortune.  A progressive citizen, a staunch friend and an upright businessman in southwest Callaway and will be greatly missed.

Churchill Clatterbuck Dead (Ashland Bugle 5-16-1935)
Churchill Clatterbuck, 60, ill for more than a year of a malignant throat trouble, died May 8, at his home near New Bloomfield.  He was born in theGuthrie community in 1874.  Burial was made at Dry Fork.

Mrs. Mae Clatterbuck Braham (Ashland Bugle, 9-16-1926)
Mrs. Mae Clatterbuck Braham, 33, died Sept. 5, at her home in Hatton, Callaway county. Deceased was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. P. Clatterbuck, southwest of New Bloomfield. Funeral held today for Mrs. Hudson (Ashland Bugle, Nov. 23, 1949) Funeral services for Mrs. Laura Clatterbuck Hudson, who dieded at her home in Guthrie Monday noon, were held at  2 o'clock this afternoon at the Dry Fork Baptist church by the Rev. J.A. Bryson, assisted by the Rev. Dan Bryson, with a burial in the adjoining cemetery. Mrs. Hudson, widow of sam Hudson lived West of Guthrie on Cedar creek for more than 50 years.  She became a member of  Dry Fork church at the age of 12. Survivors include a son, Charles S. Hudson of Jefferson City, five grandchildren, Mrs. Wesley Sheton, Mrs. Joe Young, Paul Hudson, Harris Hudson and Martha Sue Hudson, two great grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Ory Smith and Mrs. Carl Wilson and several nieces and nephews. Two sons, J. Gid and > Moss. H. Hudson.

Roy Clatterbuck Dead at Fulton(Ashland Bugle, d.  April 20, 1943)
Roy Clatterbuck former resident of Jefferson City died 3:20 a.m. yesterday at the home of his mother, Mrs. Ida Clatterbuck in Fulton.  He had been ill since March of last year and was 46 years old at the time of his death. Born in Guthrie July 2, 1897.  He came to Jefferson City in 1927 and remained > here for years as a salesman fot he Ford, Dodge and International Trucks > Motor Company.  He left there in 1940 and moved to (unreadable) Besides his mother and his wife, Clara, he is survived by his daughter, Mrs. > Grace Walker of Indianapolis, Indiana and a sister, Mrs. Grace Reynolds of New Bloomfield.  Funeral services will be held at Guthrie, MO.

Georgia Clatterbuck (Feb 9, 1995, Mexico Ledger)
Georgia C. Clatterbuck, 92, of Omaha, Neb., died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 1995, at the Lindenwood Nursing Home in Omaha, Neb.  She grew up in the Auxvasse area. Funeral services will be held at 2 P.m. Friday at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton, with the Rev. Jerry Anderson officiating.  Burial will be at the Callaway Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fulton. Visitation will be Friday at the funeral home from noon until time of the service. The family suggests memorials be made to the Dry Fork Baptist Church of Guthrie, where she was a lifelong member. Ms. Clatterbuck was born Sept. 20, 1902, in West Plains, to Douglas and Annie Messersmith Clatterbuck. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Jim, (Maybl) Bell, and brothers, Hubert, Lee and Harold Clatterbuck, all of Omaha, Lyle Clatterbuck of Sioux City, Iowa, Donald Clatterbuck of Stratford, Wis, and Dale Clatterbuck of Lexington, Neb. She was preceded in death by  sister, Rowena; and a brother, Reid Clatterbuck. > Ms. Clatterbuck taught school in Jefferson City prior to moving to Washington, D.C.., to accept a government post with the Department of Defense in 1942.

Richard Payne Clatterbuck(Ashland Bugle, 1-22-31)
Body Found in Yard by Members of Family Richard P. Clatterbuck, 75, evidently dead for some time before discovery made. Richard P. Clatterbuck, 75 was a well known farmer living west of New Bloomfield, was found dead this Friday morning at eleven o'clock in the yard by members of his family.  The exact time of his death was not known, as he had been out of the house for some time before discovery of the body was made.  Funeral services were held at Hopewell and burial in the cemetery.

Miss Lollie Clatterbuck (Ashland Bugle, April 13, 1924)
Miss Lollie Clatterubuck, 25 years old, whose home was near Englewood, died at 2:30 Sunday morning, April 13.  Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. E A. Jones.  Deceased is survived by parents, 3 sisters and 4 brothers.

Mrs. Margaret Clatterbuck (Ashland Bugle, May 1932)
Mrs. Margaret Clatterbuck, 56, wife of J.W. Clatterbuck, cashier of the Bank of Guthrie, died of spinal meningitis.  Funeral services conducted at Dry Fork and burial in church cemetery.  Former resident of Ashland and mother of Mrs. A.F. Martin and Mrs. Raymond Whitfield.

Mrs. Clatterbuck Dead (Ashland Bugle, 9-10-1925)
Mrs. Waller L. Clatterbuck, 42 years old died at her home near Guthrie, August 31, of paralysis.  Funeral services were held at Dry Fork Baptist Church Tuesday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. Keith of Columbia, and burial was in the church cemetery.  She is survived by her husband.

Ham Clatterbuck Dead(July 15, 1904)
As we go to press this morning word comes to us of the death of Ham Clatterbuck at his none about one and one half miles northwest of the place at 11 o'clock, Thrusday night July 15, 1904, of complicated diseases.  He was the sone of Waller and A.C. Clatterbuck and was about 19 years old. Ham as he was called was a favorite with his companions and was a kind hearted young man and numbered a his friends all who knew him.  His father, mother and sisters, brothers and a host of relatives mourn his death.  he was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church, having given his youthful heart to the service of his Master some years ago. His remains were intered in the Cemetery at Dry Fork Church, Friday afternoon.

Harriett E. Clatterbuck Bryan, Dec. 14, 1904
This community was profoundly shocked and grieved last Wednesday afternoon when it was announced that Mrs. John T. Bryan, who lives a short distance > from New Bloomfield, had expired from diabetes. Mrs. Bryan was formerly Miss Hattie Clatterbuck, daughter of Waller Clatterbuck.  She was married to John Bryan about two years ago. She had been sick for several months, and it was thought by her physician that she was improving.  Tuesday morning she was confined to her room, and gradually grew worse until the end came.  While her case was considered serious, her death at the time was unexpected.  The deceased had become a > professed Christian early in live and had been consistent with her profession. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Keith at Dry Fork Church Thursday afternoon.

Paul Clatterbuck died Wednesday in Kansas City(1962)
Paul Clatterbuck, 56 year old former Fultonian, died yesterday at St. Luke's ospital in Kansas City after having suffered a heart attack at his home, 4414 West 74th Terrace, Prarie Village, Kansas. A memorial service will be held at the Colonial Congregational Church in Prarie Village at 10:00 a.m. and funeral services will be held at 3:30 that afternoon at Maupin's Funeral Home here.  Internment will be in the Callaway Memorial Cemetery and services will be conducted by the Rev. Lewis Krause Pastor of the First Baptist Church here. Mr. Clatterbuck was born Oct 27, 1905 near Gurthrie, the son of the late Boyd L. Clatterbuck and Ella Humphreys Clatterbuck.  He graduated from the New Bloomfield schools and attended Westminister College.  He was an engineer with the State Highway Department in Jefferson City for a number of years, and for the past 20 years had been a civil engineer with the J.C. Nichols Co. of Kansas City. 

Mr. Clatterbuck was a deacon in the Colonial Congregational Church the past 10 years and had been active in Boy Scout work, and at the time of his death was vice-chairman of Troop 92 of Kansas City.

He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Flora Conner of Malta Bend, and a son, Paul H. Jr. of the home.  Also surviving is a sister, Miss Warrene Clatterbuck of Fulton and a brother, Marvin B. Clatterbuck of Salem, OR.  He was a nephew of Mrs. Curtis Christian of New Bloomfield and the late Judge E.R. and J.C. Humphreys of Fulton.
